THE BATH DECORATIVE AND ANTIQUES FAIR

Working in co-operation with Bath and Bradford on Avon Antique Dealers Association, will be held at the Pavilion, North Parade, Bath from THURSDAY 8 MARCH  to SATURDAY 10 MARCH, 2007 to the public with the trade only day on WEDNESDAY 7 MARCH, 1.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

This is the eighteenth  Fair organised by Robin Coleman of Piccadilly Antiques and promises to uphold the tradition of being the premier provincial decorative fair with a standard equal to if not surpassing the best of the metropolitan venues.

It has been described as a mini Olympia Fair’ and the wealth of items on display will be breathtaking in their variety and form.

All tastes will be catered for, the range of goods on show and for sale vary from country oak and painted furniture to fine walnut and mahogany, homely Staffordshire pottery and fine porcelain, Folk items and beautiful objet d’art.

For collectors and dealers alike, it will be a feast to delight the eye and will be easy on the pocket.  The Fair, being a non-profit making organisation, keeps overheads to a minimum, allowing the benefits to be passed on to the prospective buyers in the form of keen, competitive prices.

As usual, a large contingent of overseas buyers is expected, many of whom organise their antique buying trips around the dates of the Fair.

All told, it promises to be an exciting fair, retaining its position as a premier event in the antiques calendar.

A limited number of free tickets available in local antique shops and on application to the office or web site.
